Source: Me, doing me things.

Hey there, I'm Brandon.

I'm a 22 23 24 year old engineer living in the Bay Area. On a good day, I'm five foot eleven, and I enjoy long walks on the beach, staring philosphically off into the distance, and— oh sorry, wrong website.

Anyway, the main reason this blog exists is because I live out of the back of a 16' box truck, and this is where I document my thoughts and experiences as a truck-dwelling degenerate. Topics range from Truck Improvement and Truck Tips to random ramblings and the occassional post about fitness or couches.

A bit of background: I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and moved out to California pretty much immediately after. I decided to do the whole Truck Thing™ after interning out here for a summer, and realizing how few things I actually needed in my life: the year-round temperate weather and the generous amenities at work were more than enough for me to be happy and healthy.

And then it hit me: I don't need an apartment, I just need a bed and a place to put it. I'd heard about other people trying similarly silly things, so I did a bit of research and figured I'd give it a shot. And now here we are, later, not that I'm counting.

The blog is mostly just for fun, something to look back on for when I eventually become a normal person. As a result, I don't do any advertising or product promotion. If you want to reach out to me, you can contact me via email.
